A little girl loves crossing the foggy sea to visit her poppy on the island. There they have Poppy’s freshly baked bread for breakfast every morning, go cloudberry-picking, explore the island and watch the world float by as they settle down to a dinner of salt beef and pease pudding in the evenings. A lovely ode to meaningful times spent with grandparents in special faraway places.
